Tell our shoppers a little bit about what your life has been like in 2019? I let go of my Newport storefront and condo, got rid of most my belongings, and took off (with my dog Shine!) from my hometown here in Newport, RI on New Year's Day and set off on a big tour. Traveling via Sprinter Van, and living in 12 cities over the course of the year, teaching yoga to underserved populations. When I'm not teaching yoga, I'm running trails, hiking, and exploring some of the most beautiful places in the country. I'm actually still pinching myself - like, am I actually doing this!??
What are some of your personal goals over the next year? You mean aside from getting cute instagram photos every place I go?? ;-) The intention behind the tour is to be of service, figure out how I can make a bigger impact on the world, and to do some good 'ol soul searching.
What are some of your personal goals over the next 5 YEARS? Land and root somewhere beautiful. Continue to be of service in a meaningful way. Train my dog to stop high-pitch barking (this could take 10 years). Become a badass ultra marathon runner.
What is your go-to clothing when you're on the road? Anything that I can shove in my 1 suitcase that I can whip out, throw on, and look amazing in. Low maintenance, versatile, and CUTE. That orange dress is a perfect example, because it's wrinkle free, I can dress it up with nice shoes or wear it barefoot on a beach day.
Best advice you would give someone looking to travel across country. Download AllTrails, BringFido, Yelp, and Bumble - and never look back.
